Maple is a good wood choice. The instructor recommends 6/4 or 8/4 x 13” x 24” or the equivalent. The wider the boards are typically more expensive, so you could get a couple of 7” or 8” boards, or a long board 4’ 6’ or 8’ depending on what is available at OWL. The size of the cutting board is flexible and can be customized according to your needs.
